Barrie GO Train

Barrie GO Transit is fast proving to be a great benefit to the this fast growing city's residents.  In operation for several years now and with 4 trains leaving the station each morning and 4 coming back at night, the service provided to the commuters in unparalleled.  With 147,000 people calling Barrie home, it was crucial to provide this service for them.

It takes a little over an hour to get to the Union Station in Toronto and for those who used to sit in early morning traffic to get there is simply a blessing. This train also stops along the way at Bradford, Newmarket York University as well.

Go Station opened on December 16th, 2007. GO Train service to and from Barrie South .. A second station has now been opened in Allandale. We are happy to say that more and more people each day use those trains to get to and from work every day. As an added feature the trains also have scheduled runs to Toronto on Weekends for the summer months.  Great for traveling down carefree to your favorite event or for a weekend visit.
