In 2015 Barrie Real Estate Market went up by 9.4%.  For years now Barrie/Innisfil has been the bedroom community for Toronto. There is still a huge price gap between GTA and Barrie home prices. So moving to this area makes good sense to young couples beginning their lives and being able to afford a semi detached or fully detached home for the price of a small condo or town home in the GTA.

Or on the other end of the spectrum if you are planning on downsizing and retiring, this is an awesome area to go.  With the money left in your pockets from selling high in Toronto and purchasing a smaller home here, you life would become much more comfortable and some worries may be relieved.

People who live here, and commute to work in Toronto are happy, the value of their greatest asset is increasing quickly.

Over the years  prices at the pumps have become outrages. But now in 2016 currently ,we have great prices at the pumps, but that may be short lived.

There is a GO Train and it offers a great benefit for those who can utilize the service. For those who work near the train line it is a great alternative to driving on the highways.

We are excited to look forward to the developments that our Municipal Government has in store for us.

The new Park Place with shopping malls, office buildings, and recreational spaces is the huge step forward for the City. Barrie is working hard to attract outside business to come here.

We are still one of the best places to live in Ontario! The Gateway Community to winter fun on the slopes and Summer time at the beach. What else can you ask for?

Our Market conditions are always changing. 2015 was a very good market for sellers much stronger than we expected. Prices of homes were much higher than expected.  We however had very little inventory and it was difficult for buyers to purchase homes as they were sold almost immediately. We hope that next year will be stronger and better still, with plenty of home for sale so we would have a more balanced market.
